The new WiMax standard for wide area wireless communications presents an opportunity to deploy next generation networks that provide voice, video, and data services wirelessly that could only previously be provided via expensive wired networks in the past. In addition, the WiMax standard brings with it the promise of pervasive mobile connectivity for subscribers that previously only proprietary cell phone companies could provide in limited capacity.
We have leveraged the advantages of the upcoming WiMax standard against the existing penetration of WiFi to produce a quickly deployable turnkey WiMax ready network package. This package consists of all components needed to deploy a revenue bearing wireless network today with the unprecedented ability to scale and modify the network as technology and growth occurs. This unique package consists of a network backend component called ISPBrain™. The ISPBrain™ system provides a flexible, pre-developed network management, billing, and authentication system that significantly reduces the overhead normally associated with bringing a wide area network online. In addition, the package contains a wireless distribution platform powered by RoamAD. These wireless mesh units are extremely unique in that they provide a radio agnostic platform that allows for the co-existence of WiFi, WiMax and other frequencies on the same network. These wireless mesh boxes can be quickly and easily re-configured, field upgraded, or re-deployed to support a growing number of WiMax devices while still providing legacy support for WiFi users. The uniqueness of this radio agnostic platform and turnkey network management system sets it apart from the industry paradigm in extending the end of life date for network equipment, increasing long term ROI, and speeding time to deployment.
Because of the nature of this turnkey package, the system can be quickly deployed in a wide array of environments anywhere in the world in a very short time frame. The total system uses the best standards based technologies to provide unprecedented flexibility and configurability for an emerging wireless industry.
ISPBrain was born out a need for distributed wide area authentication in the emerging world of wireless connectivity and bandwidth distribution. Our mission is to aid wireless operators in managing traffic on their networks and efficiently controlling user access to a variety of entry points onto the network. With multiple authentication methods and custom authentication modules, ISPBrain provides the flexibility required to deploy almost in almost any ISP environment from public hotspots to dedicated business class services.
